Sony PSP

The latest portable multimedia machine is what I call the new Sony console. And 'the best thing that Sony has ever come up with so far. You can do almost anything with it!

Officially marketed as a game console, there is much more. First of all, you can download your favorite music on a memory stick and voila, you have a portable music player! It also uses a new storage device called UMD. It looks like a CD, but is much smaller. In addition to games, you get the music videos and movies. In a large high resolution screen, you can now watch your favorite movies anywhere, anytime. If you are a high-tech bookworm like me, you'll love even more the PSP. You can download e-books on the Internet and put it on the PSP in JPEG format, and read the latest novels on the go! Want to make precious memories around with you wherever you go? Convert photos to digital format and then transfer them to your memory stick. Now you can get hundreds of photos at your fingertips!

The screen size is relatively large for easy viewing in almost any format you use. During the game, the details, just surprise you. Watching movies is like watching a DVD. You can adjust the contrast to your preference.

The storage capacity of Memory Stick can give you a small headache, though. There is a large capacity memory sticks available but many of them are a bit expensive. But I will say that it's worth.

It would be a good idea to buy the headphones that come with an accessory. Built-in speakers, and the PSP can be a little 'disappointed. They not only offer the best experience while playing a movie or listen to music. Headphones will provide a much better sound quality.

Another disadvantage is that there seems to be pretty good for games on a console yet. Compared to other portable game consoles, the Sony PlayStation Portable back when it comes to release new games. UMD are quite expensive as well.

Then again, I'm sure you can find something to do with the PSP until the next game or a movie to come out.
